Overlooking Carlingford Lough with direct access to the award winning Cranfield Beach on the most southerly point of Northern Ireland, the holiday park is situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty, with long sandy beaches, fabulous seascapes, including views of Haulbowline Lighthouse built in the 1800’s and picturesque landscapes of the wonderful Mourne Mountains.
Here at Cranfield Caravan Park we provide our visitors with a great base from which to explore the area. The fishing town of Kilkeel is only 3 1/2 miles away, Kilkeel Harbour is home to one of Northern Irelands largest fishing fleets and here you can watch and buy the ‘catch of the day’ as it comes ashore in the busy harbour orstroll through the variety of shops available. Travel a few miles further up the coast to the lovely town of Newcastle, nestled at the foot of the Mournes. In the other direction lies Warrenpoint, with its great selection of restaurants and seasonal fairs. A little further, the bustling shopping town of Newry provides even the most seasoned shopper with a fabulous array of shops to while away an afternoon.
